My dad, Kazys Mogenis, was a physician at the Red Cross Hospital in Klaipėda in the 1930’s. He never smoked, but his dad, my grandpa did. I have a wooden box with the inscription “L. Werblowsky.” Most likely it was a cigarette box. I often wondered what its origin was, and thanks to your excelkent site, I now do. Well done, ačiū!
